California bear

General randomness

I have been working on a character comparison between Smallville and Roswell. So far, I have:
Clark = Max Evans, Lana = Liz Parker, Chloe = Maria, Lex = Michael, Pete = Isabel, Helen = Tess, Whitney = Kyle. I keep wanting to change it, though. I want Jonathan = Michael, and Martha = Isabel, but I can't work it out with the rest of the cast. It's one of these things where I really want to get it done and not having it done is making me feel a little antsy or something.

Anyway, I saw The In-laws Friday night. It was pretty good and reasonably funny. I still need to see X-Men2. I don't plan on seeing Matrix: Reloaded. I think I am one of the only people that hated The Matrix. Whenever I tell people this I always get scoffed at. It was an interesting idea, but I hated it. I really thought the movie blew. Good special effects, sure, but that's it. Blech. I also hate watermelon. Judge me all you want.

My birthday is in nine days! Normally, I don't really care that much about birthdays. If I get my hopes up too much, I'm always disappointed, so I don't really care that much if the Day doesn't go by 100% like I wanted. This year, I am throwing myself a party, though. Tuesday, June 10, at 7 p.m. It's an open invitation, so, if you want to come, let me know and I will e-mail you directions to my house. I think I will make a chocolate chip cookies-brownie cake that I had on my 21st birthday. The thing was goooood, and my own creation! It doesn't seem like it, but I think that 23 is a pretty landmark birthday. I'm going to accomplish much while I am 23, I'm sure. I really hope I get a Lex Luthor figure, like I wanted. I have been telling my family that's all I really want for the past month, but I don't think they take me seriously. It would be cool if they had a Sark action figure. That would rock!

I plan on having a collection of action figures based on people I think are really hot. It sounds cool, even if I don't really have a place for these future action figures, and I would be torn between opening their packages and playing with them or just leaving them in there for display purposes. Has anyone ever seen Figure Club? It's a spoof of Fight Club dealing with the freakish Star Wars action figure collectors. Get out those toys and play with them! It's almost a sure thing that I will take these future action figures out of their packages and probably make a movie of them dancing around or something.

Well, I really hope I start to feel better. I got this horrible earache/jaw ache/sore throat thing going on, and it is really miserable, even though it makes me really glad that I'm not sick all the time.
