Do you ever find yourselves in a situation where you are just like, "how am I supposed to act right now?" Where it seems like anything that you do would be the wrong thing, but doing nothing or moving away from the situation also seems wrong? Yeah, I hate that. I like knowing what to do. I like being able to interact with my environment in a positive way.

OK, now that I've gotten that out, I just wanted to update a little more thoroughly.

[×] Last Saturday, I attended my friend Collina's wedding reception. It was raining, which was a bummer because the reception was outside. I may have already said this before, but I do have pictures I would like to post. I don't know where they are, though. Maybe I'll get someone to bring them to me or something. I did get a really nice picture of a rainbow that was very pretty. In fact, after writing this entire entry, I did manage to coerce someone into getting those pictures for me. Collina & JoshCollapse ) & beautiful rainbowCollapse )

[×] Yesterday, I saw 13 Going on 30 with my mom and Cecilia. It was really cute.

[×] Yesterday night, I saw my friend Sena at her new house. It's a very cute house, very tidy and homey. We ate pizza and talked and listened to music and went through her CDs. She's making me copies of seven more CDs. I know, isn't exactly what I need? I already have like probably a dozen or more CDs I haven't even listened to yet in my own collection.

[×] Tuesday or Wednesday, my sister Kellie, who had been living with her boyfriend and friends, decided to come back to live at home. Since then, our house has been sort of turned upside down. Not that we don't want her around, but every time she has a problem, she seems to make it everyone else's, as well. I really can't count how many times, so far, she has wanted "to kill [herself]" since earlier this week. I mean, I love her, and we pretty much all love her, but she is sort of a Princess about stuff.

[×] I took my test on Thursday for history, and I think I did reasonably well. It's always hard to estimate how well you have done on multiple-choice tests. Especially when the answers are like this: [a] blue [b] yellow [c] pink [d] both a and c [e] both a and b [f] none of the above [g] all of the above. That? Is insane.

[×] I also found out (via a supersecret note my teacher gave me at the beginning of class) that I don't have to write the last paper for English, and that my teacher is going to just average my grades, which is good since I have all really good grades. So, that's one more thing I don't have to worry about. Which, is good. (PS, Jacob, hopefully, you'll keep this a secret?)

[×] In web site development news, I am helping this local band called Takeout with updating their site. They said that they would pay me, so it's a pretty good gig. The work is not really hard or really time-consuming or anything like that. I just updated with pictures today. For those interested, their site is friendsoftakeout.com. I'm also getting complaints from another one of my clients because I added a special effect, which, by the way, they specifically requested, and now they're saying that the pictures look "hazy." Dude. The site looks cool, deal with it. Also, when I ask for specific information, it would be really good to actually get that specific information. Anyway.

[×] I am looking at going to summer school which looks to be pretty killer. Monday through Thursday 6 p.m.-9 p.m.? I don't know about that. I really do need this class to graduate, though, and it might be a good idea to just get it out of the way.

[×] Speaking of school, on Thursday I went to take care of a library fine which I had incurred. (I guess that's what happens when you keep the books a month past when they are due.) They told me Wednesday night that the fine was $7.60 because the books cost $.20 per day or something, and then I get there Thursday before my test, and they are telling me I owe $28! I did not want to pay that much, and they told me to come back after classes and see if they could straighten it out. So, I went to the library (all by myself) after classes, and straightened out the situation (all by myself). My fine ended up being eight dollars which I paid to the lady. I was actually pretty pleased with myself. I did have to ask for help opening the doors, which is pretty hard for me to do sometimes, but I'm getting better at it.

[×] Oh yeah, I just wanted to say that I am reading everyone's journal entries, and I want to comment all the time, but I just don't have the time. Let me just say that I think that all my friends here in LJ land are awesome. Congratulations to keenai about the Iowa thing, and there was someone else I was really happy for... dang it, I'm retarded right now. Ahhh! Anyway, I am empathizing with you all. :-)
