The week update.
California bear
The past week has been pretty cool. Last Sunday, I taught in church. Everyone told me I did a great job, so that reinforces the conception that I'm awesome. I don't know; I feel like it should actually be more difficult to be so awesome, but I guess it comes easy for me.

I don't remember doing anything exciting on Monday. Oh yeah, I forgot to record Everwood.

On Tuesday, it was class time. Afterwards, my mom and I got a spicy chicken burrito and one of those new half pound bean and cheese burritos from Taco Bell. The spicy chicken burrito is actually quite tasty, but the half pound bean and cheese burrito was a big disappointment.

Wednesday, the most fabulous thing of all happened. Actually, that was a sarcastic statement. The power went off at about 10:00 a.m., and my life without electricity is like a fish being out of water. It totally sucks. After it got to be too hot to actually stay inside, we decided to go somewhere where they had air-conditioning. So, we went to KFC and talked to Kristine about creative writing club. She was pretty excited after her first club meeting, which was really cool, considering she has been so depressed lately because of a friend situation at school. It's like hardly anything can make her happy anymore. It breaks my heart to see her like that.

Wednesday night, I went to an Australian barbecue. It was really cool. My friend Dave drove me there, and the two steps up into the house was relatively painless. I had Australian steak, which tasted a lot like American steak. I also found out that an Australian hotdog is a regular hotdog rolled up with a slice of bread. I always thought that was the we-ran-out-of-hotdog-buns type of hotdog, but I stand corrected. After an appropriate amount of mingling and even a group picture, we left and went home.

Thursday was school again. It was also my little brother's football game. The two youngest sisters went to support him while my mom drove me to school. My brother's team lost 14-12.

Friday, we prepared for yet another power outage that was going to be around 10 a.m. The power didn't go out until 10:30 a.m., and even though the notice said it was going to be out until noon, it came back on within like 15 minutes. I visited with my across the street neighbor, and then spent a lot of the day playing Spiderman 2 on the Xbox with my mom.

Friday night, I went with my family to our friend Catherine's sort of farewell party. She is going to the Dominican Republic in October to serve a mission. It was a lot of fun.

After Kristine got off work, we had a Lindsey Lohan night. We watched both Mean Girls, and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. It was a fun and fluffy time.

Now I am trying to do all of my homework so I don't have to do anything next week except for watch all of the new and glorious TV shows that are coming on. I think I am most excited for Smallville, and weirdly, One Tree Hill. I must confess that I am most looking forward to Gilmore Girls, and Joan of Arcadia, though. I caught the first episode of Lost at the San Diego Comic Con, but I'm still excited to see if they made any changes to it. If it ends the same... that will be a little cliffhangerish, and abrupt.

I registered the domain miscmagazine.com today. I am really thinking about moving forward on the idea. Especially after I stop doing The Buffinator Awards in January, I will have more time to work on new things.

That's all!
