Wheelchair woes
Prison Break
So, my wheelchair is broken. I can still ride around in it, but the tilt and recline options are completely nonworking. This makes it very uncomfortable for me. Imagine having to sit in a chair all day long without once moving or adjusting your body position. Yes, it is horribly uncomfortable. Most people adjust their body while sitting on average of at least 12 times per half hour. You don't even think about doing it, you just do it. Anyhow, my life is going to pretty much be not as cool for the next couple of days. I called the place to get it repaired, and of course, they're being very inconsiderate and mean. "We will call you tomorrow." Which, predictably, they did not. I called them and they said, "We don't have any information right now. We will call you tomorrow." Yeah, I'm holding my breath.

I'm also starting to look for new wheelchairs more fervently. I don't know what to do. I want a wheelchair that is going to last me for the next five years without breaking, and if it does break, I want prompt and immediate service. I also would like my wheelchair to be able to go over medium-sized bumps without problems. It would also be great if my wheelchair had the same type of control mechanism I now use (straw + headrest).

Anyhow, I am a little frustrated because of that. I am also I finding it very hard to be motivated enough to do my homework. Also, right now, I have a horrible case of the hiccups which makes it very difficult to write (as my computer is completely voice-activated). Wah!

Let's see... is there any thing awesome happening that I can and my entry on? I really enjoyed Prison Break last night. I am also liking Heroes although the very slow pacing sometimes makes me want to throw things at the television. I have decided to pull the plug on Studio 60, so I have more time there. (Let's just say that while I understand the writing is very "brilliant" and the characters are "multilayered," many things very early on in these episodes are symptomatic of shows that have managed to thoroughly disappoint me. I want to enjoy watching television and not be angry because of it.)
