My sister Kristine and her husband and new baby (yet to be born) are going to be living with us this summer! Yay! It will be so cool to be living with her again. Her husband is taking a job selling pest-control, working with a company that I did web site work for. I'm really happy, because I'm the one who pointed them in that direction, and it looks like it's going to work out! Yay!

In other news, I taught the lesson during church today. Not teaching every month makes it a little more nerveracking when it is my time to teach (only once every three months now). I was positive that my lesson was going to suck, and no one was going to learn anything, and basically that I would be like the worst teacher of all time. It went better than that, though.

I'm still really enjoying being on my school's newspaper staff. I get to do some copy editing every Monday, which is very exciting. I love doing that kind of stuff. I'm also doing a column every week called "Grammar Grab Bag." If anyone is interested, I will post what I have already done. I know a bunch of you are grammar geeks, so I would love to do grammar lessons based on your suggestions. We all have those little grammar annoyances that drive us out of our minds, and I'd love to hear what yours are. Collapse )

One of my best friends ever, Kerri, has entered her songs into a songwriting contest, and it is looking really good for her. I finally got them to open on my computer, and they are SO so good. She is ultra-talented. Also, she is coming to see me for an entire week in April. It is going to ROCK so hard. We talked just the other day, and it made me realize how much I really miss her.

Speaking of best friends ever, BFF Cecilia is coming to visit in just a couple of weeks. I am so excited! We are going to have so much fun.

Anyhow, I have to write some stuff for newspaper, so I should go. Peace!
