I saw Jewel last night at Pechanga. It was awesome!

She did a lot of talking between songs and stuff, and she is really funny. She performed a lot of the old classics ("Who Will Save Your Soul," "Foolish Games," "You Were Meant for Me," "Little Sister," and "Hands"), as well as a lot of newer songs, including some from her yet to be released record.

Her voice is extremely magical. The best part was that the atmosphere was so chill. Everyone remained in their seats, which meant that I could actually see her perform! Also, it was just her, and not a giant band or anything like that. She's got some pretty cool guitar skills. It was a smaller venue, so there were not a lot of people there, but it was crazy awesome. At one point, some people were clapping to the beat of one of her songs, and she burst out laughing because the clapping was so off. She even asked the person clapping if he was five years old. She tried to make up for it by saying she appreciated the gesture. It was off, though.

I got a couple of pictures, but my sister took the camera to Seaworld today, so I will have to show them off later. Probably when I get back from Thanksgiving vacation. We leave tomorrow and get back Friday night.
