general update

So, I'm caught up on LOST, and of course, I'm extremely angry. There are going to be minute spoilers below (nothing gigantic) so read at your own risk of being spoiled if you are not caught up.

This last episode, I was just really mad that they never named the man in black. It was bordering on idiotic. They said Jacob's name like 400 times, but they couldn't say his brother's name once? And who really refers to their brother as "brother" all the time? (Okay, I kind of do, but not all the time.) What I think would be cool is if the man in black's name was Edward. That way we could have Team Edward and Team Jacob, and it would be made of awesome. Maybe they aren't telling us his name because he's like Rumpelstiltskin, and if we say his name three times he loses his power or something. Anyhow, I'm not getting my hopes up too high for the end of this show, because as of right now, there is a 98.45% chance that they are going to brutally disappoint me. Not just regular disappointment... brutal disappointment. And I think I'm okay with that as long as I go in expecting to be utterly let down.

Anyhow, other than the television part of my life, I have been doing okay. I've been having some health issues lately that have really made me wonder if I'm ever going to get better from them. I just try to take it one day at a time, and be as happy as I can be everyday. It is not easy, but I'm dealing, so that's all right.

On Friday, I went to Disneyland with my mom and my brother Kevin. We had a great time, but it would have been better if we had gone when we were more rested. Theme parks take a lot out of you, and a lot out of me even though I'm just mainly sitting around and driving my chair.

Saturday, Cecilia and I went to our friend Larilyn's bridal shower, which was really fun. It was up some stairs, so they made me a makeshift ramp which was actually extremely well-crafted. Very awesome. That night, we also got to go to 30 Seconds to Mars/Neon Trees concert with our friend Marisa. We had a great time, even though we didn't know it was going to be an outdoor thing and we were not prepared for the cold.

Sunday was also a good day. I got to go to church for the first time in a couple of weeks, and I had a great day.

Today I'm just resting up and trying to take it easy so I can have a good week this week. On Thursday, we are going to the GLEE concert in Los Angeles, and that should be really fun. I'm excited because not only are we going to see our favorite people on TV sing live, but the legion of extraordinary dancers is opening for them, and that should be incredible. Very excited!
